Celebrating the Spirit of Service on the 4th of July
As we gather to celebrate the 4th of July, I hope you take time to reflect on the values that unite us as a nation and as Rotarians: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. This Independence Day, let us honor the spirit of community and the commitment to "Service Above Self" that drives us. Amidst the fireworks and festivities, we remember that our dedication to making a positive impact in our communities is what truly makes our nation strong. Happy 4th of July to all of my fellow Rotarians!

Congratulations to Miss Eva Benjamin-Miss Teen Maine 2024

The most amazing Rotary group in the United States!  We had a great time gathering at Kimberly's At the Marina and possibly gained a few new members because of our meeting!

Time Sensitive Announcements:
 
Rotary Shirt Order-  We will be placing an order for Rotary shirts on 7/11/2024.  The information was sent out previously.  If you would like to place an order please contact Andrew directly. 
 
International Food Festival: This Saturday from 5-7 PM at Houlton High School the Houlton Rotary Club is hosting an International Food Festival.  This is a great opportunity to visit another club's event and enjoy food and festivities.  For more information check out their club Facebook Page.  
 
Next Week's Agenda:  July 11 will be our first meeting of the year.  There will be a brief  President's Presentation and an open forum for planning our upcoming year.  Please bring your ideas for speakers, fundraisers, and activities for the upcoming year.  We have a great year ahead!
District Governor Visit:  The District Governor Dino will be visiting our club for our regular meeting and board meeting on August 29. 
 
First Board Meeting of the year is August 29, immediately following the morning meeting.  DG Dino will be joining us.  The board meetings are open to any member that would like to observe.  Please feel free to stick around for the board meeting if you would like to spend more time with DG Dino.
