When I first joined Rotary, it was all about networking and building connections. I'll be honest—the idea of a 6:45 a.m. breakfast wasn’t exactly appealing, but I made a commitment to give it a year to see if it was "worth it." Back then, I was focused on what value Rotary could bring me. Fast forward to today, getting up early every Thursday isn’t hard at all because I truly enjoy the connections I’ve made and the sense of purpose it brings.
What’s even better is how we come together to serve our community, with the Eradicate Polio Campaign, the Veteran's Pancake Breakfast to Habitat for Humanity projects and many more. It's no longer about what I’ll get—it's about what I can give. And in that giving, I've found even greater fulfillment and connection. That’s the true power of netgiving.
