Julie Howland joined Amicus as the agency’s Executive Director (CEO) in November 2015. Julie is only the third person to hold the Executive Director/CEO position at Amicus since the agency’s inception in 1971. Julie is a Maine native and began her career three decades ago in nursing at Houlton Regional Hospital followed by a decade-long career in Human Resource Management at CHCS, in Bangor. Prior to joining Amicus Julie was employed as a licensed Multi-Level Nursing Home Administrator (MLNHA). She is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators (FACHCA) and was awarded the Maine Chapter ACHCA 2014 Member of the Year!
